To install a sheet end in a heating apparatus for use in connection of sheet ends, and perform heating of the sheet end without any waste.SOLUTION: A pressing body 1, which has a planar pressing surface and which is artificially press-operated by an operator, and a flat plate-like heating element 2, which is energized to generate heat, are provided. A connection mechanism 3, which connects the pressing body 1 and the heating element 2 in such a manner as to freely bring them closer to each other and bring them away from each other across a pressing position to pinch a sheet end between the pressing surface of the pressing body 1 and a top surface of the heating element 2 and a separation position to bring the pressing body 1 and the heating element 2 away from each other, is provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】シートの端部どうしを接続する際に使用される加熱装置において、シートの端部の加熱装置への設置、及びシートの端部の加熱が無駄なく行われるようにする。【解決手段】平面状の押圧面を有して作業者により人為的に押し操作される押圧体１と、通電することにより熱を発する平板状の発熱体２とが備えられ、押圧体１の押圧面と発熱体２の上面との間にシートの端部を挟み込む押圧位置と、押圧体１と発熱体２とが離れる離間位置とに亘って、押圧体１と発熱体２とを接近及び離間自在に接続する接続機構３が備えられる。【選択図】図２
