Summary:To provide a multi-layer gasket which opposes to a permanent deformation due to expansion and contraction of a cylinder bore sleeve upon heat load.SOLUTION: Gasket layers 26, 28 exhibit primary sealing beads 56, 58 between an inner side edge 30 and an outer side region 34 and a secondary sealing bead 62 between the primary sealing beads and the inner side edge. The secondary sealing bead is extended in a circumferential direction around an aperture 32 and in radial directions along a secondary radial direction length 64. The primary sealing beads are extended in circumferential directions around the secondary sealing bead and in radial directions along a first radial direction length 60.
