Summary:To provide a finger movement assisting device having a simple structure and that can be down-sized.SOLUTION: A finger movement assisting device 10 includes: an end member 18; a base member 16; a plurality of link members 20 aligned between the base member 16 and the end member 18 in a longitudinal direction of a finger f; a plurality of joint axes 22 that can swing between the base member 16, the link member 20, and the end member 18; at least one of a first filamentary member 24 provided on back-side of the finger from the joint axes 22 and a second filamentary member 26 provided on an opposite side of the first filamentary member 24 with the joint axes 22 therebetween; and a driving unit 14 for adjusting a tensile force of at least one of the first filamentary member 24 and the second filamentary member 26.
