Summary:To provide an elution suppression method of heavy metals capable of conducting elution suppression of heavy metals easily and at low cost and an elution suppression material thereof.SOLUTION: In the method, by mixing coal ashes, bran, cements, etc. (step S1-S3), elution of heavy metals involved in coal ashes are suppressed. Here, coal ashes, bran, cements, etc. are mixed together and can be granulated to give granules (step S4), and surface layers of the granules can be covered with solidification materials (step S5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】重金属類の溶出抑制を容易かつ低コストで行える重金属類の溶出抑制方法および溶出抑制材を提供する。【解決手段】石炭灰とフスマとセメント等とを混合することによって（ステップＳ１〜Ｓ３）、石炭灰に含まれる重金属類が溶出することを抑制するようにする。ここで、石炭灰とフスマとセメント等とを混合して粒状に造粒してもよいし（ステップＳ４）、さらにこの造粒物の表層を固化材で覆うようにしてもよい（ステップＳ５）。【選択図】図１
