Summary:To provide an image processing system, an image processing method and a program which allow for outputting an image subjected to plain color processing of foreground part having many similar colors, and an image not subjected to plain color processing to an output destination.SOLUTION: An image processing system performs plain color processing for making the color of the foreground part of an image having many similar colors monochrome with a color selected from prescribed multiple different colors based on the color of the foreground part, and outputs an image subjected to plain color processing to an output destination or outputs an image not subjected to plain color processing to the output destination.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】類似色を多く持つ前景部の単色化処理を行った画像および行わなかった画像を、出力先に出力可能にする画像処理装置、画像処理方法及びプログラムを提供する。【解決手段】画像処理装置は、類似色を多く持つ画像の前景部の色を、前景部の色に基づいて、所定の複数の異なる色のなかから選択された色で単色化する単色化処理を行い、単色化処理が行われた画像を出力先に出力するか又は単色化処理が行われなかった画像を出力先に出力する。【選択図】図５
