Summary:To provide an imaging system capable of providing high-definition image data that are appropriate for image recognition.SOLUTION: An imaging system (100) comprises a first imaging apparatus and a second imaging apparatus. The first imaging apparatus includes: a first optical system which forms a subject image at a first field angle (W1); and a first imaging device which picks up the subject image that is formed via the first optical system, and generates first image data. The second imaging apparatus includes: a second optical system which forms a subject image at a second field angle (W2) that is larger than the first field angle; and a second imaging device which picks up the subject image that is formed via the second optical system, and generates second image data.
