To suppress the occurrence of a kink in a wire between a wire feeding mechanism and a wire position supporting member.SOLUTION: A winding apparatus includes: a wire position supporting member 66 having a first wire path hole and a second wire path hole into which a first wire and a second wire are inserted; a winding driving part 60B for revolving the wire position supporting member 66 around a core so that the first wire and the second wire are wound around the core of a coil component while being twisted; a rotation part 30A for rotating the core; and a control mechanism for controlling the winding driving part 60B and the rotation part 30A. The control mechanism has a first control in which the first position supporting member 66 is revolved in a first rotation direction and the core is rotated in a second rotation direction which is the direction opposite to the first rotation direction, and a second control in which the wire position supporting member 66 is revolved in the second rotation direction and the core is rotated in the first rotation direction.
