Summary:To provide a blade driving apparatus which reduces occurrence of ghost.SOLUTION: A blade driving apparatus includes: an aperture forming member which forms a fixed aperture where light passes; a plurality of diaphragm blades which moves forward and backward with respect to the fixed aperture by a driving force from a driving source to form a diaphragm aperture; a driving ring arranged to surround a central axis of the fixed aperture and transmitting the driving force to the diaphragm blades by rotation; and a moving mechanism which moves the driving ring parallel to an aperture surface of the fixed aperture.
