Summary:To grasp the state where lubricant interposed between a fixing belt and a nip part forming member leaks to the outside of an area in the width direction of the fixing belt.SOLUTION: A fixing device is provided with a nip part forming member 26 that is inside a fixing belt 21 and in pressure contact with a pressure roller 31 with the fixing belt 21 therebetween to form a nip part.
