To provide a cab of a construction machine capable of shielding at least a part of sunlight entering through a front window both when the front window is closed and opened.SOLUTION: A cab 2 comprises a pair of front columns 4, a pair of vertical beams 6, a front window glass member 20, a roll screen 50, and holding means. The pair of front columns 4 are disposed with an interval in a width direction. The pair of vertical beams 6 extend backward from an upper end of each of the front columns 4. The front window glass member 20 is attached so as to move along a pair of guide rails 12 formed along each of the front columns 4 and each of the vertical beams 6, and between a closed position where a front window 18 formed between the front columns 4 is closed and an open position where the front window glass member 20 is stored between the vertical beams 6 and the front window 18 is opened. The roll screen 50 includes a screen 52 and a winding member 54 for winding the screen 52, in which the winding member 54 is disposed at a rear part of an inner face of the front window glass member 20 positioned at the closed position, at a front part of a front end of the front window glass member 20 positioned at the open position and at an outside of the guide rail 12. The holding means is attached on each of the front columns 4 and holds a tip of the screen 52 releasably.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】前窓の閉塞時又は開放時のいずれにおいても前窓から侵入する日射の少なくとも一部を遮蔽可能な建設機械のキャブを提供する。【解決手段】キャブ２は、幅方向に間隔をおいて配置された一対の前支柱４と、各前支柱４の上端から後方に延びる一対の縦梁６と、前支柱４間に形成された前窓１８を閉塞する閉塞位置と縦梁６間に収納され前窓１８を開放する開放位置との間を、各前支柱４及び各縦梁６に沿って形成された一対の案内レール１２に沿って移動自在に装着された前窓ガラス部材２０と、スクリーン５２及びスクリーン５２を巻き取る巻き取り部材５４を有し、閉塞位置に位置づけられた前窓ガラス部材２０の内面よりも後方かつ開放位置に位置づけられた前窓ガラス部材２０の前端よりも前方かつ案内レール１２の外方に巻き取り部材５４が配置されたロールスクリーン５０と、各前支柱４に付設されスクリーン５２の先端部を解除自在に保持する保持手段とを備える。【選択図】図２
