To provide a polyester-based adhesive which is excellent in characteristics such as adhesive force, heat resistance, holding power and transparency and is used for a label, an adhesive tape, a sheet or the like.SOLUTION: There is provided an adhesive which comprises a polyester resin (A) containing a polyvalent carboxylic acid component and a polyvalent alcohol component as copolymerization components which satisfies the following (1) to (5) and a curing agent (B): (1) when the content of the polyvalent carboxylic acid component is defined as 100 mol%, the content of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid component is 10 mol% or more, (2) when the content of the polyvalent alcohol component is defined as 100 mol%, the content of a glycol component having a hydrocarbon group in the side chain is 10 mol% or more, (3) when the total content of the polyvalent carboxylic acid component and the polyvalent alcohol component is defined as 200 mol%, the total content of a dicarboxylic acid component having an odd number of carbon atoms in the main chain and glycol is 30 mol% or more, (4) when the total content of the polyvalent carboxylic acid component and the polyvalent alcohol component is defined as 200 mol%, the content of a dicarboxylic acid component having an even number of carbon atoms in the main chain and glycol is 30 mol% or less and (5) the polyester resin (A) has a number average molecular weight of 10000 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】 粘着力、耐熱性、保持力および透明性の特性が共に優れ、ラベル、粘着テープもしくはシート等に使用されるポリエステル系粘着剤を提供すること。【解決手段】 多価カルボン酸成分と多価アルコール成分を共重合成分とし、下記（１）〜（５）を満足するポリエステル樹脂（Ａ）、および硬化剤（Ｂ）を含有する粘着剤。（１）多価カルボン酸成分を１００モル％としたとき、芳香族ジカルボン酸成分の含有量が１０モル％以上である（２）多価アルコール成分を１００モル％としたとき、側鎖に炭化水素基を有するグリコール成分の含有量が１０モル％以上である（３）多価カルボン酸成分と多価アルコール成分の合計を２００モル％としたとき、主鎖の炭素数が奇数のジカルボン酸成分およびグリコールの含有量の合計が３０モル％以上である（４）多価カルボン酸成分と多価アルコール成分の合計を２００モル％としたとき、主鎖の炭素数が偶数のジカルボン酸成分およびグリコールの含有量の合計が３０モル％以下である（５）ポリエステル樹脂（Ａ）の数平均分子量が１０，０００以上である【選択図】 なし
