Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a servo motor capable of improving radiation performance to heat generated in a stator coil and maintaining high output, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A servo motor 100 is provided with: a rotor 8 which is mechanically connected with a second arm part 2b which is a rotation object on both sides of a wall part 3 which is an external component in an axial direction X; a stator core 6 which is oppositely provided on the outside in a radial direction of the rotor 8; a stator coil 9 which is wound around the stator core 6 and to which power is supplied; a frame 7 which accommodates the rotor 8, the stator core 6 and the stator coil 9; and a front bracket 5 which is oppositely provided in the wall part 3, and fixed to the frame 7. The frame 7 is provided with: a first recessed part 16a and a second recessed part 16b which contact the front bracket 5 in the axial direction X; and an end surface 27 on a load side X1 which contacts the wall part 3 in the axial direction X.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ステータコイルで発生した熱に対する放熱性能を向上させることができるとともに、高い出力を維持することができるサーボモータ及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】サーボモータ100は、軸方向Xに外部部品である壁部3を挟んで回転対象である第二アーム部2bと機械的に接続されるロータ8と、ロータ8の径方向外側に対向して設けられるステータコア6と、ステータコア6に巻き付けられるとともに電力が供給されるステータコイル9と、ロータ8、ステータコア6及びステータコイル9を収納するフレーム7と、壁部3に対向して設けられるとともにフレーム7に固定されるフロントブラケット5とを備え、フレーム7には、フロントブラケット5に軸方向Xに接触する第一窪み部16a及び第二窪み部16bと、壁部3に軸方向Xに接触する負荷側X1の端面27とが設けられる。【選択図】図1
