Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door handle device for a vehicle for improving the accuracy of a determination based on a detection result by a sensor.SOLUTION: A door handle device 10 for a vehicle comprises: a handle 20; an unlock sensor 50 having a first drive electrode 51 and a first detection electrode 55; a lock sensor 60 having a second drive electrode 61 and a second detection electrode 65; an auxiliary sensor 70 having an auxiliary drive electrode 51 and an auxiliary detection electrode 71; and a sensor control part.
