Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent delay of gas jetting in a gas generator having large gas generation amount.SOLUTION: A gas generator 1A includes an igniter 40, a cup-shaped member 50 and a fixation member 70. The cup-shaped member 50 is disposed so that a transfer charge chamber 55 accommodating a transfer charge 56 faces the igniter 40, and explodes or melts when operated. The fixation member 70 fixes a filter 60, and does not explode or melt even when operated. The cup-shaped member 50 includes a side wall portion 51 and a top wall portion 52, and the fixation member 70 includes a partition wall portion 73. An inner diameter Ra of the side wall portion 51 and a distance Ha between top wall portion 52 and the igniter 40 satisfy a condition of Ra/Ha≤1.00. The side wall portion 51 includes a first region R1 surrounded by the partition wall portion 73 and a second region R2 not surrounded by the partition wall portion 73. An end of the partition wall portion 73 is disposed on a top plate portion 21 side of the igniter 40. A gas generating agent 61 is disposed to face the top wall portion 52, the second region R2 and the partition wall portion 73.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ガス発生量が大きいガス発生器においてガス噴出の遅延を防止する。【解決手段】ガス発生器1Aは、点火器40とカップ状部材50と固定部材70とを備える。カップ状部材50は、伝火薬56が収容された伝火室55が点火器40に面するように配置され、作動時において破裂または溶融する。固定部材70は、フィルタ60を固定し、作動時においても破裂および溶融しない。カップ状部材50は、側壁部51と頂壁部52とを含み、固定部材70は、隔壁部73を有する。側壁部51の内径Raおよび頂壁部52と点火器40との間の距離Haは、Ra/Ha≦1.00の条件を満たす。側壁部51は、隔壁部73によって囲まれた第1領域R1と、隔壁部73によって囲われていない第2領域R2とを有し、隔壁部73の端部は、点火器40よりも天板部21側に配置される。ガス発生剤61は、頂壁部52、第2領域R2および隔壁部73に面するように配置される。【選択図】図1 |
