PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention system by means of home appliances using an image recognition technique.SOLUTION: The crime prevention system includes: management means for inputting a visit schedule to a user's home; a server located at a service provider being configured to generate a recognition database including a piece of image information of a candidate visitor having a schedule to visit to the user's home, which can be identified using the visit schedule; and a home appliance installed at the user's home being configured to acquire a piece of image information of an actual visitor. The crime prevention system is configured to determine whether the actual visitor is a person who is included in the recognition database by performing a series of matching processing against the recognition database, using the acquired image information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 【課題】画像認識技術を用いて、家電装置による防犯システムを構築する。【解決手段】防犯システムは、ユーザの住宅への訪問スケジュールを入力する管理手段と、訪問スケジュールを使って特定される、ユーザの住宅への訪問が予定される候補訪問者の画像情報を含む認識データベースを生成するサービス提供者のサーバと、ユーザの住宅に設置され、実際の訪問者の画像情報を取得する家電装置とを備える。取得した画像情報を用いて、認識データベースとマッチング処理を行うことにより、実際の訪問者が認識データベースにある人物かどうかを判定する。【選択図】図５
