Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable function of denitration catalyst for decomposing a nitrogen oxide.SOLUTION: A heating gas generation device for a denitration device of an internal combustion engine includes: a denitration catalyst 21 provided in an exhaust gas passage of an engine 11; a supply nozzle 22 provided on an upstream side of the denitration catalyst 21, and configured to supply reductant to the denitration catalyst 21; and a heating unit 30 having a burner device 31 for supplying heating gas to the exhaust gas passage. The heating unit 30 includes a mixed air introduction pipe conduit 36 configured to introduce outside air to the exhaust gas passage.
