Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for cooling a web which does not wrinkle a web when drying and cooling after stripe-coating an only one side of the web composed of a metal foil with a coating liquid, relating to the apparatus for cooling the web.SOLUTION: A coated surface composed of a coated layer 2 and a non-coated layer 3 is formed of stripe-like on only one side of a long-formed web 1 composed of a metal foil. The apparatus for cooling a web cools the web by contacting a cooling roll to the coated surface having the coated layers of the web 1 running from an upstream to a downstream along a conveying way, the cooling roll disposed on a downstream of a heat treatment device for drying the coated layer 2 coated on the web.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】ウエブの冷却装置に関して、金属箔のよりなるウエブの片面のみに塗工液をストライプ塗工した後に乾燥させ冷却する場合にウエブに皺を発生させないウエブの冷却装置の提供。【解決手段】金属箔よりなる長尺状のウエブ1の片面のみにストライプ状に塗工層2と非塗工層3よりなる塗工面が形成され、搬送路に沿って上流から下流に走行するウエブ1の塗工層を有する塗工面に冷却ロールを接触させて、ウエブを冷却するウエブの冷却装置。冷却ロールはウエブに塗工された塗工層2を乾燥させる熱処理装置の下流に設けられている、ウエブの冷却装置。【選択図】図2
