PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a strip method of a multilayer sheath cable such as a double sheath cable having an outer sheath provided on the outer periphery of an inner sheath, which can reliably strip only the outer sheath without damaging the inner sheath.SOLUTION: In a cable strip method in which a notch is formed in the longitudinal direction and the width direction of the cable at a desired position along the longitudinal direction of a multilayer sheath cable and the outer sheath is peeled off to expose the inner sheath, a protective member is provided on at least a part of a contact portion between a knife and the inner layer sheath, in the case of forming a notch with the knife, and a heat insulating member is sandwiched between the outer layer sheath and the inner layer sheath when the outer sheath is fused by heat to form a notch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】本発明の課題は、内層シースの外周に外層シースを設けた２重シースケーブルなどの多層シースケーブルのストリップ方法に関して、内層シースを傷つけることなく外層シースのみを確実にストリップできる方法を提供する。【解決手段】多層シースケーブルの長手方向に沿う所望の箇所で、ケーブル長手方向及び幅方向に切込みを形成し、外層シースを剥ぎ取って内層シースを露出させるケーブルのストリップ方法において、刃物で切込みを形成する場合は刃物と内層シースとの接触部の少なくとも一部に保護部材を設け、熱により外層シースを溶断して切込みを形成する場合は外層シースと内層シースとの間に断熱部材を挟持する。【選択図】 図１
