Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging apparatus that carries out offset removal without using a special imaging element, a signal processing circuit, a mechanical shutter, and so on.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: a condensing optical system that condenses light; an imaging element that photo-electrically converts light condensed by the condensing optical system; and a signal processing part that processes an electric signal after the photoelectric conversion. The imaging apparatus moves a relative positional relation with an object and acquires an image of the object. The imaging apparatus uses, as a signal of the image of the object, a signal of an image, obtained by subtracting a signal of a second image acquired in a predetermined second exposure period, which is a period for which output as an electric signal is not carried out due to the photoelectric conversion, from a signal of a first image acquired in a predetermined first exposure period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】特殊な撮像素子や信号処理回路、機械的なシャッタ等を用いることなく、オフセット除去を行う画像撮像装置を得る。【解決手段】光を集光する集光光学系と、前記集光光学系により集光された光を光電変換する撮像素子と、前記光電変換後の電気信号を処理する信号処理部とを備え、対象物との相対位置関係を移動して前記対象物の画像を取得する画像撮像装置において、予め定めた、所定の第1の露光時間で取得された第1の画像の信号から、予め前記光電変換により電気信号として出力がされない時間を第2の露光時間として定めた、前記第2の露光時間で取得された第2の画像の信号を差し引いた画像の信号を、前記対象物の画像の信号とする。【選択図】図3
