PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a shroud that is used also as a bell mouth of an outdoor unit for an air conditioner to achieve a cost reduction.SOLUTION: An outdoor unit for an air conditioner includes: a ring fan that has a blade part and a ring part surrounding the blade part in a circumferential direction; a motor for rotatably driving the ring fan; and a substantially annular shroud surrounding an upper side of the ring fan in the circumferential direction, in an upper part of a housing.
