Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage system enabling both of cooling and heating, and capable of reducing a use weight of a latent heat storage material in storing heat beyond season, and provide an installation method for the latent heat storage material.SOLUTION: A heat storage system 1 includes: an indoor space IDS; a heat storage space HSS adjacent to the indoor space IDS, and where a latent heat storage material H is installed, the latent heat storage material having a melting point or freezing point within a range of 5-30°C; and a natural ventilation device NV configured to control introduction/cutoff of outside air to the heat storage space HSS.
