Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning machine provided with an air spinning device configured to, even when raw material having a low apparent Young's modulus is subjected to draft and spinning, be capable of suppressing deterioration in spinning properties and further suppressing deterioration of the physical properties of a yarn.SOLUTION: Provided is a spinning machine comprising: a draft device; and an air spinning device. The draft device drafts a sliver into a fiber bundle. The air spinning device applies a twist to the fiber bundle drafted by the draft device with an air flow to produce a yarn. The draft device includes: a front-roller pair arranged at the most downstream side in the fiber running direction; and a middle roller pair next arranged on the downstream side. The draft device performs the draft in such a manner that a first draft ratio reaches 12 or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】空気紡績装置を備える紡績機において、見掛けヤング率が低い原料をドラフト及び紡績する場合においても、紡績性の低下を抑えるとともに、紡績糸の糸物性の低下を抑制可能な構成を提供する。【解決手段】精紡機は、ドラフト装置と、空気紡績装置と、を備える。ドラフト装置は、スライバをドラフトして繊維束とする。空気紡績装置は、ドラフト装置でドラフトされた繊維束に空気流によって撚りを加えて紡績糸を生成する。ドラフト装置は、繊維走行方向の最も下流側に配置されるフロントローラ対と、次に下流側に配置されるミドルローラ対と、を備える。ドラフト装置は、第１ドラフト比が１２以下となるようにドラフトを行う。【選択図】図３
