Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel percutaneous collagen production promotor that promotes the production of type I procollagen being a precursor substance of type I collagen which produces fibrous collagen, and is capable of fundamentally solving skin aging, and a method for promoting the production of type I collagen.SOLUTION: A percutaneous collagen production promotor has hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid and/or salt thereof with the average molecular weight of 3,500 or less as an active ingredient. In the percutaneous collagen production promotor, it is preferable that salt of the hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid is sodium salt, and it is preferable that residue on ignition of the salt is 15 to 25%. In a method for promoting the production of type I collagen, the promotor is applied on skin.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】繊維性コラーゲンを生み出すI型コラーゲンの前駆体物質であるI型プロコラーゲンの産生を促進し、皮膚老化の根本的な解決が可能な新規経皮用コラーゲン産生促進剤、及びI型コラーゲンの産生促進方法の提供。【解決手段】平均分子量3,500以下の加水分解ヒアルロン酸および/またはその塩を有効成分とする、経皮用コラーゲン産生促進剤。前記加水分解ヒアルロン酸の塩はナトリウム塩であることが好ましく、その強熱残分は15〜25%であることが好ましい、経皮用コラーゲン産生促進剤。前記促進剤を皮膚に塗布するI型コラーゲンの産生促進方法。【選択図】なし
