Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propulsion device that is compact and lightweight, inexpensive, low in power consumption, and user-friendly.SOLUTION: A propulsion device 1 includes: a housing 2; a driving member 3 (rotary motor) that is provided in the housing 2 and causes a weight 4, which is separated in a radial direction from a center axis 3a, to make a circular motion with the center axis 3a as a center; and plural grounding members 5 (plural ciliary legs 5a and 5b) that ground the housing 2. The plural grounding members 5 each have a spring property for varying a distance between the housing 2 and a contact surface 9. An eccentric action exerted by causing the weight 4 to make a circular motion and the spring properties of the plural grounding members 5 are used to generate in each of the plural grounding members 5 a propulsive force that has a magnitude relationship to an advancing direction (forward, backward, rightward, or leftward).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】小型且つ軽量であり、安価で、消費電力が少なく、使い勝手の良い推進装置を提供する。【解決手段】推進装置1は、ハウジング2と、ハウジング2に設けられ、中心軸3aから半径方向に離間された重り4を前記中心軸3aを中心に円運動させる駆動部材3(回転モータ)と、ハウジング2を接地する複数の接地部材5(繊毛状の複数の脚5a,5b)とを備える。複数の接地部材5は各々、ハウジング2と接面9との距離を変化させるバネ性を有しており、重り4を円運動させることによって生じさせた偏心作用と複数の接地部材5のバネ性とを利用して、進行方向(前後、左右)に応じて大小関係を有する推進力を複数の接地部材5に発生させる。【選択図】図1
