Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat comprising a seat cushion whose height can be adjusted, comprising a position holding member which does not rotate relatively to a torsion bar and which can be reduced in size and weight.SOLUTION: A vehicle seat 1 comprises a cushion frame 5 which can be vertically displaced by a link mechanism 6. For assisting lifting of the cushion frame 5, a torsion bar 14 is arranged in a connection pipe 12 whose both ends are fixed to a left and right pair of rear links 11, 11. A position holding member 24 holds the torsion bar 14 and is supported to the connection pipe 12, thereby suppressing positional deviation of a shaft core of the torsion bar 14. The position holding member 24 is engaged to an extension part 16 which is orthogonal with respect to a shaft part 15, so that the position holding member does not rotate around an axial line with respect to the torsion bar 14. Therefore, on the position holding member 24, a part where reinforcement is needed and to which lateral force from the torsion bar 14 is applied, is limited to a narrow range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】高さ調節可能な前記シートクッションを備えた車両用シートに於いて、トーションバーに対して相対回転せず、小型化及び軽量化が可能な位置保持部材を備える車両用シートを提供する。【解決手段】車両用シート1は、リンク機構6によって上下に変位可能なクッションフレーム5を備える。クッションフレーム5の上昇を補助するため、左右1対のリアリンク11,11に両端を固定された連結パイプ12内に、トーションバー14が配置される。位置保持部材24が、トーションバー14を保持し、連結パイプ12に支持されることにより、トーションバー14の軸芯の位置のずれが抑制される。位置保持部材24は、軸部15に対して直交する延長部16に係合するため、トーションバー14に対して軸線回りに回転しない。そのため、位置保持部材24において、トーションバー14からの横力が加わる補強が必要な部分は狭い範囲に限定される。【選択図】図1
