Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope system capable of more accurately counting an actual number of cases with endoscopes whose one-time use time is different depending on device models.SOLUTION: In an endoscope system 1, a control device 3 for controlling an endoscope 2 periodically overwrites time information in a storage device 16 of the endoscope 2 as up-to-date time information when the endoscope 2 is connected, reads out the up-to-date time information stored in the first storage device when the endoscope system is started, calculates a time that has elapsed from the up-to-date time indicated by the up-to-date time information to a present time, compares the calculated time that has elapsed and a set time set for each endoscope, and adds the number of use stored in the storage device 16 by one if the time that has elapsed is longer than the set time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】1回の使用時間が機種によって異なる内視鏡の実際の症例数を、より正確にカウントすることができる内視鏡システムを提供する。【解決手段】内視鏡システム1において、内視鏡2を制御する制御装置3は、内視鏡2が接続されているときに内視鏡2の記憶装置16に定期的に時刻情報を最新時刻情報として上書き記憶し、内視鏡システムが起動されたときに前記第1の記憶装置に記憶された前記最新時刻情報を読み出し、最新時刻情報の示す最新時刻からから現在時刻までの経過時間を算出し、算出された経過時間と内視鏡毎に設定された設定時間を比較し、経過時間が設定時間より大きい場合には、記憶装置16に記憶されている使用回数を1だけ加算する。【選択図】図1
