Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that can heat a photoreceptor efficiently with low power consumption with the calorific power of a small photoreceptor heater, and can be configured easily at an inexpensive price.SOLUTION: Below a rotatable photoreceptor 4 carrying a toner image, an exposure device 7 forming an electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor 4 charged by a charging part (10) is arranged. A developing device 2 develops, with toner, the electrostatic latent image formed on the surface of the photoreceptor. A photoreceptor heater 6 is arranged vertically below the photoreceptor 4 such that the photoreceptor 4 and part of the photoreceptor heater are opposite to each other with a space 1b between the charging part (10) and developing device 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】小さな感光体ヒータの発熱量によって、効率よく、また低消費電力で感光体を加熱することができる簡単安価に構成可能な画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】トナー像を担持する回転可能な感光体4の下方に、帯電部(10)により帯電された感光体4に静電潜像を形成する露光装置7を配置する。現像装置2は感光体表面に形成された静電潜像をトナー現像する。感光体4の鉛直下方には、帯電部(10)と現像装置2の間の空間1bを介して感光体4とその一部が対面するように、感光体ヒータ6を配置する。【選択図】図2
