Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress vibration due to the rotation of a polygon mirror.SOLUTION: In the optical scanner, a deflector 50 includes a bottom plate 51, a rotor 52 whose axis SX of rotation is orthogonal to the bottom plate 51, and a polygon mirror 55 fixed to the rotor 52, with a plurality of reflection surfaces R of the polygon mirror 55 arranged by being inclined a prescribed angle α to the axis of rotation. A plurality of seating faces 11F, 12F are provided at the tips of a plurality of protrusions 11, 12 projecting from above the bottom face S of a frame 100, respectively, and are in contact with the bottom plate 51.
