Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently coating particulate functional materials, used as an additive for concrete, with an alkali-soluble resin while the functional materials can retain their functions and do not change into gummy materials.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an additive for concrete comprises: a step of heating functional materials up to a temperature equal to or higher than the softening point of an alkali-soluble resin; a step of adding the alkali-soluble resin to the heated functional materials; a step of forming an alkali-soluble resin layer coating the functional materials while the temperature of the functional materials is lower than the softening point of the alkali-soluble resin, in which the alkali-soluble resin to be added is in the state of a dry powder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
