PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently coating particulate functional materials, used as an additive for concrete, with an alkali-soluble resin while the functional materials can retain their functions and do not change into gummy materials.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing an additive for concrete comprises: a step of heating functional materials up to a temperature equal to or higher than the softening point of an alkali-soluble resin; a step of adding the alkali-soluble resin to the heated functional materials; a step of forming an alkali-soluble resin layer coating the functional materials while the temperature of the functional materials is lower than the softening point of the alkali-soluble resin, in which the alkali-soluble resin to be added is in the state of a dry powder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】コンクリート用添加剤として用いられる微粒子状の機能性材料に、機能を保持したまま且つガム状に変化することなく、効率的にアルカリ可溶性樹脂を被覆する方法を提供する。【解決手段】機能性材料をアルカリ可溶性樹脂の軟化点以上に加熱する工程と、加熱した機能性材料に対しアルカリ可溶性樹脂を添加する工程と、機能性材料の温度をアルカリ可溶性樹脂の軟化点未満とし、機能性材料を被覆するアルカリ可溶性樹脂層を形成する工程と、を有するコンクリート用添加剤の製造方法であって、前記アルカリ可溶性樹脂が乾態粉末であるコンクリート用添加剤の製造方法。【選択図】図２
