Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an installation tool that enables installation of a cutting tool on a chuck unit, and by which the amount of projection of the cutting tool from a distal end of the chuck unit can be easily adjusted to a predetermined amount.SOLUTION: At a main body 2 of an installation tool 10, there is formed a fitting portion 23 to be fitted onto a cap 203 for mounting a collet 201 on a chuck body. In an interior space of the main body 2, a bushing 3 including a bottomed insertion hole 31 is disposed coaxially with the main body 2. Upon mounting of a drill 100 serving as a cutting tool, the drill 100 is inserted into the insertion hole 31, and the collet 201 and the cap 203 are positioned so that a distal end 201e of the collet 201 is in contact with an upper end surface 34 of the bushing 3. The positional relationship between the upper end surface 34 and the fitting portion 23 is determined so that a fitting portion 203c of the cap 203 is fitted into the fitting portion 23 of the main body 2 when the collet and the cap are positioned. Subsequently, the main body 2 is rotated to fasten the cap 203 onto the chuck body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】切削工具をチャックユニットに取り付けることが可能であり、かつ、切削工具の、チャックユニットの先端からの突出量を容易に規定量にすることができる取付工具を提供する。【解決手段】取付工具10の本体2には、コレット201をチャック本体に取り付けるためのキャップ203と嵌合する嵌合部23が形成される。本体2の内部空間には、有底の挿入孔31が形成されたブッシュ3が本体2と同軸に配置される。切削工具としてのドリル100の取り付けは、ドリル100を挿入孔31に挿入するとともに、コレット201の先端201eがブッシュ3の上端面34に接触するようにコレット201及びキャップ203の位置決めを行う。このとき、キャップ203の嵌合部203cと、本体2の嵌合部23とが嵌合するように、上端面34と嵌合部23との位置関係が定められる。その後、本体2を回転させて、キャップ203のチャック本体への締付けを行う。【選択図】図1
