Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode paste for a battery, which enables formation of a positive electrode less in elution of a dispersant into electrolyte solution.SOLUTION: A positive electrode paste for a battery according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises a positive electrode active material, a conducting agent, a binding agent, a copolymer and a dispersant. The copolymer contains a constituting unit (a) represented by a formula (1), a constituting unit (b) represented by a formula (2), and a constituting unit (c) represented by a formula (3). In the copolymer, the content of the constituting unit (c) is 15 mass% or more and 45 mass% or less.
