Summary:To provide an intake system of an engine with a supercharger, in which while an intermediate passage connecting the supercharger with an intercooler is compactly formed, sound radiation occurring from the intermediate passage is reduced.SOLUTION: A gas discharge port 34c in a supercharger 34 and a gas introduction port 36d in an intercooler 36 are both opened toward the opposite side to the outside face 10a on one side of an engine body and are connected with each other via a second passage 35 working as an intermediate passage. At a middle position in the second passage 35, a narrow part 35c is provided, in which the flow passage cross sectional area at the position is reduced smaller than the flow passage cross sectional area in a portion leading from the position to the downstream end of the second passage 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15 【課題】過給機付きエンジンの吸気装置において、過給機とインタークーラを繋ぐ中間通路をコンパクトに構成しながらも、その中間通路から生じる放射音を低減する。【解決手段】過給機34におけるガスの吐出口34cとインタークーラ36におけるガスの導入口36dとは、双方ともエンジン本体一方側の外面10aに対して反対側に向かって開口していると共に、中間通路としての第2通路35を介して相互に接続される。そして、第2通路35における中途の部位には、該部位における流路断面積を、該部位から第2通路35の下流端部に至る部分における流路断面積よりも縮小させた狭小部35cが設けられている。【選択図】図15
