To provide a water discharge device capable of preventing unintended water discharge when removing a water discharge part from a holding part.SOLUTION: A water discharge device comprises a water discharge part connected to a water supply hose, a holding part detachably holding the water discharge part, a first sensor detecting a human body near a water discharge port of the water discharge part, a second sensor detecting the movement of the human body trying to remove the water discharge part from the holding part, and a control part controlling the discharge/stoppage of water of the water discharge part on the basis of a first detection signal outputted from the first sensor.
