Summary: | To control noise due to rapid decompression expansion of fire-extinguishing gas.SOLUTION: The gas injection device includes: an injection head (13) having a nozzle part (12); a sound absorption material (125) composed of porous metal in which fire-extinguishing gas discharged from the nozzle part flows; a ring member (122) which fastens the sound absorption material by coming into contact with the sound absorption material; and a connection member (129) which connects the injection head and the ring member. The nozzle part is provided with nozzle holes (16). The sound absorption material is provided with one end face (125b) for discharging fire-extinguishing gas and with the other end face (125a) for facing the opening of the nozzle holes, and is capable of directly flowing the fire-extinguishing gas discharged from the nozzle holes into the porous metal from the other end face. The connection member contains a screw part (123) that can be screwed onto the injection head, with one end face atmospherically opened excepting a part in contact with the ring member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13
