Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve protection performance of a mounting component against static electricity.SOLUTION: A lighting device 100 includes a pair of input terminals for receiving input power from an external power supply AC, a power conversion circuit for converting the input power into desired DC power, a pair of output terminals for supplying the DC power to a light source, a dimming signal input circuit for receiving a dimming signal indicating a dimming level from an external device, a control circuit for controlling the power conversion circuit according to the dimming level indicated by the dimming signal, and adjusting the DC power to a value according to the dimming level, a printed circuit board 800 on which the pair of input terminals, the power conversion circuit, the pair of output terminals, the dimming signal input circuit and the control circuit are formed, and a metal plate 70 for holding the printed circuit board 800.
