Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding method and a welded article.SOLUTION: A gap on a substrate (10) is filled by welding filling beads by way of arc scanning with use of an arc welder. The gap is defined by weld beads on the substrate (10). Weld beads (12) are not overlapped on one another. A welded article includes the substrate (10) containing a super alloy with crack tendency, the weld beads, and the filling beads welded onto the substrate (10). There is no micro crack and no macro crack on a thermal effect region of the filling bead, the weld bead, and the substrate (10). A welding method can include a step at which the weld beads 12 are welded to the substrate 10, and a step at which the filling beads 16 are welded onto the substrate 10 by use of an arc welder while performing arc scan. The filling beads (16) fill a gap (14) between an adjacent pair of the weld beads (12).
