Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inspecting a sprayed coating, which allows for detecting and assessing closed cracks, closed boundaries, internal defects including micro-voids and micro-cracks appearing in grain boundaries, and micro-anomalies including uneven coating texture of a sprayed coating, and measuring the thickness of the sprayed coating.SOLUTION: A large-amplitude sinusoidal ultrasonic wave is made to enter a sprayed coating formed on a substrate surface via water, and waveform distortion from an incident sine wave is extracted in the form of harmonics, which enables detection and assessment of closed cracks, closed boundaries, internal defects, and textural micro-anomalies of the sprayed coating, and measurement of the thickness of the sprayed coating.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】溶射皮膜における、閉口き裂や閉口界面、粒界に発生するマイクロボイドやマイクロクラック等の内部欠陥、また、皮膜組織の不均一性等の微小不健全部の検出及び評価が可能であり、溶射皮膜の厚みも測定可能な溶射皮膜の検査方法を提供する。【解決手段】基材の表面に形成された溶射皮膜に、水を介して大振幅正弦波超音波を入射し、入射正弦波からの波形のゆがみを高調波として抽出するので、溶射皮膜における閉口き裂や閉口界面、内部欠陥、また、組織の微小不健全部の検出及び評価が可能になり、溶射皮膜の厚みも測定可能になる。【選択図】図1 |
