Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device and the like of which a photoreceptor is made into a replaceable unit and which is able to appropriately manage the service life of a photoreceptor unit for preventing image quality from deteriorating.SOLUTION: An image formation device includes: a photoreceptor to rotate; an exposure unit to form a latent image on a surface of the photoreceptor; and a developing unit to add tonner on the latent image by using a two-component developer to form a tonner image. The photoreceptor is contained in a photoreceptor unit capable of being attached and detached. The image formation device also includes: an image stabilization control unit to optimize a parameter value of image formation when no images are formed; and a replacement determination unit to determine whether the photoreceptor unit should be replaced on the basis of an optimization value (Vdc0), i.e. the parameter value when the image stabilization control unit made optimization. The replacement determination unit determines that the photoreceptor unit should be replaced if the optimization value corresponds to a predetermined photoreceptor replacement event (E).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】感光体が交換可能なユニット化され,かつ,画像品質の低下を防止するための感光体ユニットの寿命管理を適切に行うことができる画像形成装置等を提供すること。【解決手段】回転する感光体と,感光体の表面に潜像を形成する露光器と,潜像上に2成分現像剤によりトナーを付与してトナー像を形成する現像器とを有する画像形成装置を対象とする。そして,感光体は脱着可能な感光体ユニットに内蔵されており,画像形成のパラメーター値の最適化を非画像形成時に行う画像安定化制御部と,画像安定化制御部による最適化がなされたときの前記パラメーター値である最適化値(Vdc0)に基づいて感光体ユニットの交換の判定を行う交換判定部とを有している。交換判定部は,最適化値があらかじめ定められた感光体交換事象(E)に該当する場合に感光体ユニットを交換すべきと判定するものである。【選択図】図6 |
