Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power calculation method, a diagnostic method, a power calculation system, and a program that can eliminate the need to measure the amount of solar radiation of each of a plurality of photovoltaic power generation systems and can prevent the possibility of a reduction in diagnostic accuracy.SOLUTION: A power calculation method includes a first measurement step, a second measurement step, a first calculation step, a second calculation step, and a third calculation step. In the first measurement step, generated power of a first photovoltaic power generation system 10 is measured. In the second measurement step, current-voltage characteristics of a diagnosis module 41 are measured. In the first calculation step, first expected generated power is calculated from the maximum generated power obtained from the current-voltage characteristics. In the second calculation step, a solar radiation intensity of a second photovoltaic power generation system 20 is calculated from the current-voltage characteristics.
