Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide slurry for spray capable of forming a spray coating having high adhesion strength to a substrate face on which to be sprayed.SOLUTION: Slurry for spray is sprayed onto a substrate face on which to be sprayed to form a spray coating on the substrate face. The slurry contains spray particles having a 50% particle size D50 of 1 μm or more and 5 μm or less in a volume-based cumulative particle size distribution and a dispersion medium in which the spray particles are dispersed. The ratio D10/Ra of a surface roughness Ra (unit: μm) of the substrate face on which to be sprayed and a 10% particle size D10 (unit: μm) of the spray particles in the volume-based cumulative particle size distribution satisfies the following expression. 0.4<D10/Ra≤0.9SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】基材の被溶射面に対する密着強度が高い溶射皮膜を形成可能な溶射用スラリーを提供する。【解決手段】溶射用スラリーは、基材の被溶射面に溶射して被溶射面上に溶射皮膜を形成するためのものであって、体積基準の積算粒子径分布における50%粒子径D50が1μm以上5μm以下である溶射粒子と、該溶射粒子が分散した分散媒と、を含有する。そして、被溶射面の表面粗さRa(単位はμm)と、溶射粒子の体積基準の積算粒子径分布における10%粒子径D10(単位はμm)との比D10/Raが、下記式を満たす。0.4<D10/Ra≦0.9【選択図】なし
