Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage sheet containing microcapsules for suppressing a temperature rise caused by a heating element such as an electronic apparatus such as various sensors.SOLUTION: There is provided a heat storage sheet having microcapsules including a heat storage material composed of a fatty acid ester represented by the following formula and a microcapsule layer containing at least one selected from silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide as inorganic particles other than the microcapsules or at least one selected from a silicate and a borate as an inorganic binder. There is provided a method for using a heat storage sheet capable of suppressing a temperature rise caused by a heating element by bringing the heat storage sheet into contact with a heating element such as an electronic apparatus such as various sensors or attaching the heat storage sheet to the heating element, or providing a heating element such as an electronic apparatus such as a sensor circuit on a surface having no microcapsule layer of the heat storage sheet.
