Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ΔΣ modulator capable of suppressing occurrence of pop noise.SOLUTION: ΔΣ modulator 10 includes an adding unit 20 that adds an audio signal and a feedback signal, a quantizing unit 30 that quantizes the signal added by the adding unit 20, a subtraction unit 40 that calculates a quantization error by subtracting the signal quantized by the quantizing unit 30 from the signal added by the adding unit 20, a filter unit 50 that accumulates the quantization error and outputs the accumulated signal to the adding unit 20 as a feedback signal, a non-signal detecting unit 60 that detects a non-signal state of an audio signal, and a gain adjustment unit that reduces the output level of the filter unit 50 toward zero at predetermined time intervals when the non-signal detecting unit 60 detects a non-signal state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
