Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing a scroll member that can improve vertical property between a surface of a base part of a scroll member and an inner peripheral surface of a scroll wall.SOLUTION: When machining an inner peripheral surface 4 of a curve profile part 12, a root part 40b of a tool 40 is inclined in an inclination direction at a first angle θrelative to a normal line 38 of a surface 11s of a base part 11. The inclination direction is a direction separated away from a scroll wall 3 relative to a processing point 75 in a plan view of the surface 11s of the base part 11.
