Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily remove slugs or the like in the vicinity of the base of a weld bead part.SOLUTION: A removing device comprises a wire brush having a cylindrical rotor and a plurality of wires radially arranged on the rotor, rotation driving means for rotating the wire brush, a moving mechanism for moving the wire brush, and control means for controlling the rotation driving means and the moving mechanism. The control means controls the moving mechanism to move the wire brush along the surface of a weld bead part while contacting the tips of the wires of the wire brush rotated by the rotation driving means with the surface of the weld bead part in such a posture of the wire brush that the direction line in which the wires extend becomes perpendicular to the surface of the weld bead part with which the wires contact.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】溶接ビード部の山裾付近のスラグ等を容易に除去できること。【解決手段】除去装置は、円柱状の回転体と、該回転体に放射状に配置された複数のワイヤ線と、を有するワイヤブラシと、ワイヤブラシを回転させる回転駆動手段と、ワイヤブラシを移動させる移動機構と、回転駆動手段及び移動機構を制御する制御手段と、を備える。制御手段は、ワイヤ線が延びる方向線がワイヤ線が当たる溶接ビード部の表面に対し垂直となるようなワイヤブラシの姿勢で、回転駆動手段により回転するワイヤブラシのワイヤ線の先端を溶接ビード部の表面に当てつつ、ワイヤブラシを溶接ビード部の表面に沿って移動させるように移動機構を制御する。【選択図】図6
