Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a degradation determination method of a battery capable of precisely determining a degraded state of a lead-acid battery for cycle-use usage in a short period of time.SOLUTION: Reference data obtaining a correlation between an open-circuit voltage (OCV) and a state-of-charge (SOC) of a sound battery is acquired in advance, and the state-of-charge obtained from the open-circuit voltage at the start time of charging is defined as SOCv0. Discharge of an object battery 11 determined to be degraded is performed for a predetermined time, and a current value in the predetermined time from the start to the stop of the discharge is accumulated and a variation (ΔSOCi) of the state-of-charge of the object battery 11 due to the discharge is calculated based on the accumulated current value. When the discharge is stopped, the object battery 11 is put into an open-circuit state so as to measure the open circuit voltage. The state-of-charge (SOCv) corresponding to the measured open circuit voltage is obtained from the reference data, and ΔSOCi, SOCv0, and SOCv are compared with the capacity of the sound battery, thereby determining a degraded level of the object battery 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】サイクルユース鉛蓄電池の劣化状態を短時間で精度良く判定することが可能な蓄電池の劣化判定方法を提供する。【解決手段】健全な蓄電池の開回路電圧(OCV)と充電率(SOC)との相関関係を求めた基準データを予め取得しておき、放電開始時における開回路電圧から求まる充電率をSOCv0とし、劣化判定される対象蓄電池11の放電を所定時間行い、放電を開始してから停止するまでの所定時間における電流値を積算し、積算した電流値に基づいて放電による対象蓄電池11の充電率の変化量(ΔSOCi)を算出し、放電の停止時に対象蓄電池11を開回路状態にして開回路電圧を測定し、測定した開回路電圧に対応する充電率(SOCv)を、基準データから求め、ΔSOCiと、SOCv0及びSOCvを、健全な蓄電池の容量と比較して対象蓄電池11の劣化度合いを判定する。【選択図】図1
