Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To expand a pressure adjustable range of an electromagnetic type pressure reduction valve.SOLUTION: An electromagnetic type pressure reduction valve 40 includes: a spool valve 42 for permitting or blocking communication between a pilot passage 26 and a pilot pressure supply passage 28; and a solenoid 41 for imparting thrust force according to a level of supplied current to the spool valve 42. The spool valve 42 has a pressure receiving face 42d that generates thrust force in an opposite direction to the thrust force of the solenoid 41 when pressure from the pilot pressure supply passage 28 acts thereon.
