Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake air cooling device of an internal combustion engine capable of improving acceleration performance and acceleration feeling in sport traveling in which sudden acceleration and sudden deceleration are intermittently performed.SOLUTION: An intake air cooling device of an internal combustion engine includes a power transmission device disposed between the internal combustion engine and a compressor, and intermittently transmitting power from the internal combustion engine to the compressor, an intake expansion valve disposed between the compressor and an intake air cooler, and capable of adjusting a flow rate of a refrigerant supplied to the intake air cooler, a refrigeration capacity control device capable of instructing connection and disconnection of power transmission to the power transmission device, and instructing opening/closing to the intake expansion valve, and a mode selection switch connected to an internal combustion engine control device and capable of selecting a sport traveling mode. The internal combustion engine control device gives an instruction to the refrigeration capacity control device so that the power transmission by the power transmission device is disconnected in fuel injection of a fuel injection system when the sport traveling mode is selected by the mode selection switch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】急加速及び急減速が断続的に行われるスポーツ走行の場合に加速性能及び加速フィーリングを良好なものとすることができる内燃機関の吸気冷却装置を提供する。【解決手段】内燃機関の吸気冷却装置は、内燃機関と圧縮機との間に配置され、内燃機関から圧縮機への動力伝達を断続可能な動力伝達装置と、圧縮機と吸気冷却器との間に配置され、吸気冷却器に供給される冷媒の流量を調整可能な吸気用の膨張弁と、動力伝達装置に対して動力伝達の断続を指示可能であって、かつ、吸気用の膨張弁に対して開閉を指示可能な冷凍能力制御装置と、内燃機関制御装置に接続され、スポーツ走行モードの選択が可能なモード選択スイッチと、を備え、内燃機関制御装置は、モード選択スイッチによってスポーツ走行モードが選択された場合に、燃料噴射系統の燃料噴射時に動力伝達装置が動力伝達を遮断するように、冷凍能力制御装置に指示を与える。【選択図】 図1
