Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber bundle capable of providing a carbon fiber bundle in which fuzz generation or winding of fiber bundles to a roll kneader during flame resistance treatment on the carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber bundle, and which has less fuzz and high quality, and a manufacturing method of a carbon fiber using the carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber bundle.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a carbon fiber bundle including using a carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber bundle containing an oil agent composition with residual ratio at 250°C of 95% or more and residual ratio at 800°C of 5% or less, and having dynamic friction coefficient of 0.15 or less as a carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber bundle introduced to flame resistant furnace. A ratio between major axis dand minor axis dof a fiber cross section of a single fiber of the carbon fiber precursor acrylic fiber bundle is preferably 1.2 to 1.8, depth of the deepest wrinkle of surface wrinkle of the single fiber is preferably 150 nm to 250 nm. The oil agent composition preferably contains cyclohexane dicarboxylic acid alkyl ester or hydroxy benzoic acid alkyl ester with specific structures.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】炭素繊維前駆体アクリル繊維束を耐炎化処理するときの、毛羽発生や回転ロールへの繊維束の巻付きが抑制され、さらに毛羽が少なく高品位の炭素繊維束を得ることが可能な炭素繊維前駆体アクリル繊維束、及び、その炭素繊維前駆体アクリル繊維束を用いる炭素繊維の製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】耐炎化炉に導入する炭素繊維前駆体アクリル繊維束として、250℃の残存率が95%以上であり、800℃の残存率が5%以下である油剤組成物を含み、動摩擦係数が0.15以下である炭素繊維前駆体アクリル繊維束を用いることを含む炭素繊維束の製造方法。炭素繊維前駆体アクリル繊維束の単繊維の繊維断面の長径dLと短径dsとの比dL/dsは1.2以上1.8以下が好ましく、前記単繊維の表面皺の最も深い皺の深さは150nm以上250nm以下が好ましい。油剤組成物は、特定の構造のシクロヘキサンジカルボン酸アルキルエステルあるいはヒドロキシ安息香酸アルキルエステルを含むことが好ましい。【選択図】 なし
