PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation apparatus which can perform the desired binding processing without performing the binding processing dividing one copy of a sheet bundle into some copies even when the number of the sheet bundle (entire thickness) that can be subjected to binding processing by a binding device exceeds the upper limit.SOLUTION: An image formation apparatus changes a printing condition with respect to a sheet bundle PT by adjustment processing means 40, 45 so that the entire thickness of the sheet bundle PT becomes equal to or less than a prescribed value A and performs the binding processing by binding devices 91, 92 to the sheet bundle PT printed under the changed printing condition in a case where it is determined that the entire thickness X of the sheet bundle PT exceeds the prescribed value A before performing the binding processing to the sheet bundle PT (plural sheets P) by the binding devices 91, 92.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】綴じ装置で綴じ処理をおこなうことができる用紙束の枚数（全体の厚さ）が上限を超えてしまっても、１部の用紙束をいくつかの部数に分けて綴じ処理をおこなうことなく、所望の綴じ処理をおこなうことができる、画像形成装置を提供する。【解決手段】綴じ装置９１、９２で用紙束ＰＴ（複数の用紙Ｐ）に対して綴じ処理をおこなう前に用紙束ＰＴの全体の厚さＸが所定値Ａを超えるものと判断された場合に、その用紙束ＰＴの全体の厚さが所定値Ａ以下になるように調整処理手段４０、４５によって用紙束ＰＴに対する印刷条件を変更して、変更された印刷条件で印刷された用紙束ＰＴに対して綴じ装置９１、９２で綴じ処理をおこなっている。【選択図】図１
