Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving tool which performs driving on condition that both a trigger and a contact arm are turned on, and in which smoother operation is performed in a conventional timer mechanism including a part operated by compressed air, and thereby inhibit an unexpected driving operation although the contact arm interferes with another part when the driving tool is carried while the trigger is still turned on.SOLUTION: When a reference time t has passed after turning on the trigger 12, power supply to an actuator 24 is interrupted and an actuation shaft 24a moves downward, so that a contact regulation member 21 moves to a lock position and a lock arm part 21c prevents the contact arm 6 from being turned on. Accordingly, a locked state is smoothly obtained by a quick operation of the actuator 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15 【課題】トリガとコンタクトアームの双方がオン操作されたことを条件に打ち込みがなされる打ち込み工具において、トリガをオン操作したまま持ち運ぶ際にコンタクトアームが他部位に干渉等しても不用意な打ち込み動作がなされないようにする必要がある。圧縮エアにより動作する部位を有する従来のタイマー機構について、よりスムーズな動作がなされるようにする。【解決手段】トリガ12のオン操作後、基準時間tが経過すると、アクチュエータ24に対する電力供給が遮断されて作動軸24aが下動することにより、コンタクト規制部材21がロック位置に移動してそのロックアーム部21cによりコンタクトアーム6のオン操作が禁止された状態となる。アクチュエータ24の迅速な動作によりロック状態をスムーズに得ることができる。【選択図】図15
